Thoughts On: The Subway

So today I was in Manhattan doing some stuff (don't you worry about it!) and as I was heading back downtown, the train I was on was delayed as soon as I got on it and at each of the next two stops. At the third delay, the conductor gets on the loudspeaker and randomly announces that this particular train would become an uptown train at the next stop. At this point I thought "wtf?!" that was such a good waste of 15 minutes that I could have spent on another train, or not on a train at all for that matter. Where do they decide to change the direction of the train? Why not just follow through with the direction they are going? Michael Scott of Dunder Mifflin makes better decisions and half the time he bombs in the conference room.

Thoughts On: Wolverine vs. Deadpool

It's pretty safe to say that before any of the X-Men movies came out that Wolverine was the clear fan favorite. His attitude, fighting style and vernacular clearly made him stand out from the others (you got a problem there rookie?). Unbeknown-st to those who didn't regularly read comics was another mutant, dubbed "the merc with a mouth", yes I am referring to Deadpool. Of relevance here is that both characters share a rapid healing factor which grants them an almost unlimited source of strength and stamina but they are also trained martial artists which proves them to be worth adversaries for each other. It is this writer's opinion that Deadpool even has a more interesting history than Wolverine does, one that includes genetic altering, death, insanity and yet he keeps on thriving. Wolverine...............memory loss. Sure, we know his story but does he? Oh yea maybe that adds to his suffering, longing to know his past and all, but what good is it if you don't remember half the stuff you did. Besides, it only took his own comic series with Cable and four movies for Deadpool to get his time on the silver screen.

This is a trailer for a movie coming out in 2010 called Taker's...

I personally love this genre... The thief movie is always a good one... In this film it looks like the good guys are gonna win considering the first name listed on cast is the cop... The trailer seems a little hectic, and I can't really grasp the concept, but i know that this movie has two hip hop artists in it and Paul Walker... Sounds like another Fast and Furious movie... I can't say that this movie will suck base off the hip hop artists being casted, because T.I. was in American Gangster and I did thoroughly enjoy that film...

This is exciting for any Nightmare fan, especially those who have been waiting for this series to be reborn. However more important here is that we catch a glimpse here of how Freddy was transformed into the monster we know him as today. I think it's pretty obvious that 2010 beats 1991..........and that fire sucks so don't piss off a whole town where they can throw molotov cocktails like Dan Marino throws touchdown passes.

This aired after the credits for the season finale of Entourage, which i must add was AMAZING... Great season and greater season finale... I actually found this funny minus the fake crying part...

The Flash Movie Slowing Down

Ok... I'm not really sure what this all means for the film... but it doesn't sound good... On the plus side... it really looks like they care about how this film comes out... it would seem that they are looking for it to be perfect before they go ahead... I can support that... But, I hope they just don't give up on the film and they keep trucking ahead because I think if done right this film could be pretty awesome... I think they should develop a good Superman movie first, which the studio has said they aren't interested in doing anytime soon, which i think is a mistake... I would love to see a good Superman movie and then a good Flash movie... Can you imagine the epic race around the world between Superman and The Flash we've all read about in some HD glory...? Arrested Development Slowly Moving Forward

Well, it's about time. Being an Arrested Development fan, I'm really excited for this to become a movie. I'm probably excited because Fox decided to cut me off from it after only a few seasons and I've been going through withdrawal ever since... The screen play development is going forward, which the writers said wouldn't happen if all the cast wasn't on board... so I'm assuming they are all on board now... Verizon and Google Partner Up

A match made in heaven in my opinion. I may be biased because i am a Verizon customer... But still, has anyone seen the video that compares Verizon's 3g coverage to ATT's 3g coverage...? ATT got pwned... Video below... I'm very excited that Verizon will finally be getting Android on their phones, especially with the delays with windows mobile... They recently just released WinMo 6.5, but they would really like to have WinMo 7 out by now... but thats a different story... Verizon also has stated that it will fully support Google Voice...
